ALL OF US is part of a series of quilts based around my interest in human impact on the environment. This piece depicts a scene which has become all too familiar in the oceans of the world. Our daily consumption of products leaves behind a wake of plastic packaging, large amounts of which are finding their ways into streams, rivers and oceans. The impact plastic trash and discarded fishing gear has on aquatic life is detrimental.
